Strukturierte Methoden und praxisnahe Impulse – für Reflexion, Klarheit und konkrete Schritte hin zu gelebter Gleichstellung in Beruf und Privatleben.
Peer Coachings
Collegial consultation is a structured, resource-oriented method that enables groups of equal rank to reflect on professional challenges and jointly develop targeted courses of action. In my role as facilitator, I guide the entire process: I provide a clear structure, hold the space, and offer methods ranging from simple introductory formats to more complex approaches for experienced groups.
Process & Format
Monthly meetings over an extended period with a fixed group of participants have proven effective. Topics are determined according to need and can cover a wide range – from everyday professional challenges to strategic questions.
Value for the Group
Participants benefit from the exchange of experience and perspectives within the peer group. They develop concrete solution strategies beyond established patterns, expand their communication and consulting skills, and at the same time build a supportive collegial network.
Core Principles
The facilitated peer coaching sessions are based on voluntary participation, confidentiality, and mutual trust. All participants meet as equals, work together constructively, cooperatively, and appreciatively, and communicate respectfully. Active participation, consideration for one another, and mutual willingness to help create the framework for open reflection and sustainable solutions.
Target Groups
The peer coaching sessions are especially well suited for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates with care responsibilities, and gender equity and diversity advocates – as well as for anyone else seeking exchange, reflection, and joint solution development in a confidential setting.

Workshops on Mental Load, Equal Care & Self-Care
Running the household, taking care of children, looking after sick or elderly family members, buying gifts, listening, creating a good atmosphere… Mental load and care work often remain invisible in everyday life because they take place privately and unpaid. Yet the success of families and care communities depends significantly on someone keeping an eye on all these tasks and taking them on. Who carries the responsibility? Who remembers what? And how can care work be organized so that it is shared fairly?
I offer workshops for people who are confronted with mental load, want to actively work toward a fair distribution of care work, and want to learn how personal relief and self-care can succeed in both their private and professional everyday lives.
Goals
The goal of the workshops is to provide foundational knowledge about mental load, equal care, and self-care from an equity-sensitive perspective – tailored either to the private context or the workplace context.
The workshops for the private sphere focus on the dynamics of care work, responsibilities, and fair task distribution within the family, and offer space to reflect on one’s own patterns, mindsets, and beliefs.
The workshops in the workplace context, on the other hand, examine mental strain, invisible organizational labor, and fair task distribution within teams – here too, combined with a conscious engagement with structurally shaped thought patterns and expectations. In both formats, participants receive concrete input, strategies, and practical tools to encourage, consciously shape, and sustainably establish fair structures in their respective context.
Parts of my workshop concepts are based on the train-the-trainer seminar “Equal Care! Designing and Leading Equal Care Workshops” led by Jo Lücke (2024).
Target Groups
The workshops are aimed at people who
- are affected by mental load or want to actively work toward a fair distribution of care work,
- participate voluntarily and bring an intrinsic interest in reflection and change,
- recognize social science perspectives and methods as a foundation.
Process & Format
The workshops can be flexibly designed: the number of participants, duration, and format can be adapted to the respective context. Interactive methods, reflection exercises, and practical tools offer inspiration for trying out and individually implementing the content in everyday life or the workplace.
